Olivia Chubey

Chief Service & Operations Officer

Olivia is passionate about creating vibrant home environments and diverse programs and services that empower older adults to live their best lives and age successfully in Silvera communities.

Olivia has more than two decades of senior leadership experience in human services, housing and health care, serving seniors and vulnerable adults with disabilities. She has worked for private not-for-profit and public sectors, including 12 years with Alberta Health Services, Continuing Care-Edmonton Zone.

She aims to enhance the quality of life for Silvera residents and older Calgarians by accessing local supports to help them live in their communities for as long as possible. Olivia leads three teams: Community Operations (the people), Facility Operations (the buildings) and Impact Innovation (donor-funded research, quality of life and quality of service).

These teams develop innovative, sustainable ways to help older adults retain their independence within their local community; access quality housing regardless of income; maintain connections with their supports; and enjoy meaningful lifestyle programs and services. They engage Silvera residents, older Calgarians and community partners to co-design impactful programs and services.

Olivia holds two degrees, an MBA from University of Roehampton, United Kingdom and a Bachelor of Science with microbiology specialization from University of Alberta.

Olivia is an avid scuba diver, skier, hiker, kayaker, reader and enjoys international gourmet cooking.
