Throughout the past few years, because of COVID, we have not been able to offer individual volunteer opportunities. We are pleased to announce that 2024 will welcome volunteers back in all our Silvera communities!

We have refreshed our Silvera-wide volunteer program and are eager to welcome volunteers back into our Silvera homes. There are two ways you can join us as a volunteer:

Let us know what you would like to do…perhaps you have a special skill and would like to lead a class as part of our Life, Learning & Leisure program?

Groups of all ages and stages of life are welcome to join us for a Silvera Care Day!
Families, groups of friends, community groups (service clubs, scouting, schools, churches) and workplace/corporate teams are welcome.
We have two types of Silvera Care Days – one is working directly with our residents through our Life, Learning and Leisure program. These activities vary based on the size of your group and where you would like to volunteer. It is best to reach out so we can discuss the current opportunities and how to best accommodate your groups needs and interests.
The second is working alongside our building operators helping with outside projects – like painting, gardening and small landscaping projects.
We can accommodate groups of different sizes at our many locations across Calgary.
