Our Housing and Services
At Silvera, you have choices. As a non-profit provider with 60 plus years of service, Calgarians trust Silvera to provide a diverse selection of housing with services and supports for independent older adults. Our goal is to ensure seniors in our community have access to accommodation types with different levels of affordability and the accommodation services, health supports, and lifestyle options that allow them to live independently and age successfully.
Silvera offers two housing streams, independent living and supportive living.
Independent Living
Our independent living communities are ideal for active older adults that can maintain their daily activities with little support (accommodation only). These apartment units and town homes are equipped with full kitchens and 24/7 maintenance. Some of our independent living communities can access additional services and supports as needed on a fee-for-service basis. Is Independent Living the right fit for you?
Supportive Living
Our supportive living communities offer full accommodation services including daily dining, weekly house keeping and access to a variety of life, learning and leisure options. While we don’t offer long-term care or assisted living in our supportive living communities, there is 24/7 non-medical employees on site, and some of these communities offer specialized mobility and memory care supports.
