Silvera’s actions to protect against COVID-19
The health, safety and well-being of Silvera residents, families and employees are our chief priorities.
In March 2020, before the pandemic was officially declared, Silvera activated our Emergency Response plan, team and risk procedures to help mitigate the risk of COVID-19 transmission. Today, we continue to strictly adhere to all orders of Alberta’s Chief Medical Officer of Health.
We have worked hard to help prevent the COVID-19 virus from entering our communities and to manage the spread if it does. Our employees remain vigilant in following pandemic outbreak protocols and infection control practices to safely serve Silvera residents.
Silvera advocated with the Government of Alberta for residents and employees to be priorities for vaccination. We encourage all residents, employees and families to get vaccinated to help protect against COVID-19 and its variants.
